As the award goes, I have 11 questions to answer about myself:

1. How do you fund your travels?

   I save up! I like to take my paychecks and save a certain percentage dedicated to traveling. Also, my parents travel for work so they usually take me with me if possible. Thanks Mom & Dad!

2. Where was the first place you visited and what prompted you to carry on travelling?

   I’ve been traveling since I was born(<– read my story here) I remember being strapped onto my dad’s back while hiking the Narrows of Utah. There is just a sense of adventure I feel when I wake up early to board a plane or take a roadtrip. There’s always a feeling that there is more to explore.

3. What is the first thing you do when you arrive at a new place?

   hm.. it depends on the place! Usually throw my bags in the room, take a shower, grab my camera, and head out the door. I don’t like being cooped up- I like immersing myself in the local culture.

4. If you’re not doing what you’re doing now, what would you be doing?

   I am a freelance copywriter and a digital marketing manager for a video production company and I LOVE it all. If I wasn’t doing that, I’d want to be traveling and reviewing hotels/restaurants/travel deals. How fun would that be?

   5. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

   I would want to be able to heal the sick. I feel very deeply for people who are hurting or are sick, I wish I could take that all away for them and give them a sense of peace.

6. What’s the best meal you ever had while travelling? If possible, insert pictures too.

   OMG hard question. I would have to say my family’s asados in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It’s a whole day affair where the family gets together, usually on a sunday, and we drink wine and eat the most amazing meat in the world. Salchicas, Carne Asada, Morcilla, pollo, Choripan, vino, milanesas…. I could go on. If you meet an Argentine, ask them to take you home for dinner one day. You won’t regret it. Unless you’re a vegetarian!

   

7. If anyone could narrate your life story in a Hollywood movie, who would it be? (it could be a fictional character too)

   Morgan Freeman or Kate Winslet. They both have pretty iconic voices with nice accents. I’d be honored! Call me!

8. If you could choose to travel in time, would you choose the past or the future, which year/era will you choose to go to and why?

   Hm… Probably the past… the 60’s. I love that hippie culture & freedom movement! I love the uniqueness and passion that people had back then.

9. What’s your kind of trip and why? (e.g: beach, city, etc.)

   I don’t have a favorite. I can have fun anywhere. I suppose I prefer beach trips just because I’m a mermaid.. the ocean calls to me! Follow me on Instagram!

10. Do you always bring your sunblock around when you travel (other than winter)?

    Always, have you seen a picture of me? I am a pale redhead- I could get burnt when it’s raining in December. It’s a curse and it’s taken me 24 years to accept the fact that i’ll never be tan.

11. Where is your dream destination?

    Right now, my dream destination is Ireland/ Scotland. I feel a pull in my soul to visit these places. The green landscapes of the country, the music, the people seem to have a sense of warmth about them.. I just bought tickets to fly there August 1! Anyone from Ireland want to hang out?!
