Christmas, you are a welcome sight this year.
London does Christmas like NO OTHER! I thought I loved Christmas before this, but holding hands and walking through central London with Nik to look at ALL these amazing lights has changed everything.
It more was romantic, magical, and stunning than ever before.
If you’ve been following along on my instagram, you will have seen me sharing the STUNNING Christmas light installations that have captured my heart this season:
The Pink Tree of Hope @
St. Pancras International Train Station & Elan Cafe
Address: Euston Rd, Kings Cross, London N1C 4QP
Closest Tube Station: King’s Cross
My Pro Photo Tip: Wear something pink and/or sparkly to match the vibe of the tree!
Burlington Arcade
Address: 51 Piccadilly, Mayfair, London W1J 0QJ
Closest Tube Station: Picadilly Circus or Green Park
Pro Photo Tip: Place the camera at a low angle looking up behind you so it looks like you’re touching the ornaments! I added an extra bauble and a touch of sparkles on photoshop.
Cartier
Address: 175-177 New Bond Street
Closest Tube Station: Green Park or Picadilly Circus
Pro Photo Tip: I actually added a ‘screen’ of gold sparkles on a black background (video) on photoshop. If you’re interested in a tutorial, leave a comment below and I’ll write one up!
Silver Ornament Tree @ Coal Drops Yard
Address: Stable St, Kings Cross, London N1C 4DQ
Closest Tube Station: Kings Cross
Pro Photo Tip: I looked this tree up on instagram before I visited to make sure I was colour-coordinated with it! More aesthetic photos seem to catch the eye better on instagram.
Regents/Oxford Street

Address: Regent Street
Closest Tube Station: Oxford Circus or Picadilly
Pro Photo Tip: Secret is out! The starry night sky is actually just photoshop. I added a new layer ‘the sky’ ontop of my photo, turned the opacity down so I could see my original photo behind it, and erased the sky wherever it covered the buildings. Leave a comment if you want a tutorial!
Queens of Mayfair
Address: 17 Queen St, Mayfair, London W1J 5PH
Closest Tube Station: Green Park
The Ritz

Address: 150 Piccadilly, St. James’s, London W1J 9BR
Closest tube station: Green Park
Pro Photo Tip: I used a .6x lens on my Google Pixel to fit the whole building in this shot.
You can also use a low angle!
St. Paul’s Cathedral
Address: St. Paul’s Churchyard, London EC4M 8AD
Closest Tube Station: Mansion House
Pro Photo Tip: The reflection of the tree on the ground adds a cool double tree! If you find a puddle or a rainy floor anywhere, you can do this reflection too, you’ll just have to crouch lower to the ground.
Churchill Arms
Address: 119 Kensington Church St, Kensington, London W8 7LN
Closest Tube Station: Notting Hill Gate
Pro Photo Tip: I got this picture with a tripod and a remote to snap the pics! Totally recommend.
